FPD Patrol Division Application

In late 2023, I identified the outdated nature of FPD's processes, particularly the reliance on paper forms. Patrol officers had to carry numerous forms, including traffic stop slips, which were cumbersome and led to a backlog of paperwork.

I began digitizing forms, starting with traffic stop slips, using Jotform. The feedback from officers was positive, leading me to digitize more forms. Eventually, I created the FPD Patrol App using Jotform’s app tool. This secure app houses all digitized forms and essential links for officers on patrol.

The FPD Patrol App allows officers to:

• View internal BOLOs (Be On the LookOut)

• Submit feedback on the app or forms

• Submit traffic stop slips at the time of the stop or later

• Enter information about lost or stolen license plates, vehicles, and property

• File accident reports and incarceration sheets required by the jail

• Make children's division reports

• Submit Narcan usage reports

• Enter missing persons

• View Missouri charge codes and laws

• Use online investigative tools

• View the patrol schedule

• And much more.
